Anschutz Medical Campus Offering Planned Giving Incentive Program
Starting September 2018, a generous benefactor is offering $25,000 to encourage planned gift commitments to the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. Until December 31, 2018, when you document an estate gift to CU Anschutz, we will put $1,000 toward a fund of your choice to make an impact today.
Planned gifts are essential to the long-term financial stability of our university. This incentive helps us plan for the future by documenting your estate plans. Also, by knowing now how you would like the gift used, we can ensure that your donation will have the impact you desire.
How the Planned Giving Incentive Program works
- A benefactor expresses interest to document their planned giving commitments* through the website, development officer or other communication method.
- The benefactor works with the CU Anschutz Office of Advancement to document their estate giving.
- Once the letter of intent is finalized, $1,000 will be directed to the area of their support.
- This $1,000 will be current use.
*Commitments can include making CU Anschutz a beneficiary in accounts like your 401K or IRA, documented in your will, or a beneficiary of a real estate gift.
